What is Dancing Freedom?
Dancing Freedom is a conscious movement practice… a space to come back into the body, to move, feel and express without pressure, performance or expectation.
Rooted in a somatic and ceremonial approach to dance, this practice invites you to listen inward… allowing the body to guide what wants to be expressed, released or transformed. There are no steps to follow and nothing to get right, just an openness to what is alive within you.
Each session follows a guided musical journey through the elements… Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ethe, supporting grounding, flow, expression, expansion and integration. Moving in this way becomes a kind of meditation… an unfolding of awareness through the body.
At times the experience can feel soft and grounding… and at others, deeply activating or expansive, opening into powerful states of expression, insight or transformation. Your invitation is to move in a way that feels true for you, honouring the innate wisdom of your body.
These sessions honour authenticity, choice and self-expression, held within a shared space of presence and respect for each person’s individual process.
